On May 21, the 8th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) opened at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Centered on the theme of “New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services,” the event serves as a key window showcasing industrial upgrading and opening-up cooperation in western China.
Inside the venue, AITO’s Wenjie series of intelligent vehicles were on full display, with multiple models demonstrating the high-end manufacturing strength of China’s new energy automobile industry. CRRC’s high-speed train model and Unitree’s humanoid robot were also showcased, painting a comprehensive picture of intelligent manufacturing in western China.
Concurrently, the “Chongqing Vehicles Go Global · Leading the World with Intelligence” export matchmaking event was held. Data shows Chongqing’s auto exports in Q1 grew by over 70% year-on-year. Leveraging the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Chongqing-made vehicles are accelerating their expansion into global markets.
WCIFIT is not only a platform for showcasing technological achievements but also a vital bridge connecting western Chinese enterprises with the global market, injecting new momentum into the export of new energy vehicles and the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing.
